Former Phillipsburg NJ resident David W. Nemeth was promoted to Angel on Saturday November 21, 2020 at home in Leesburg FL. with his family by his side.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years the former Barbara J. Bechtold, his 3 children Wendy Carroll of Leesburg, FL, Tracy Molo of Portsmouth, VA, and his son David Nemeth II of Philadelphia, PA. David along with 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Richard Nemeth, Billy Nemeth, Harry Leidy, Delores Heinrich and Eleanora Soto. David is preceded in death by his parents Louisa Leidy, Decidrius Nemeth, his siblings Edna Vreedenburg, Rose Weidlich, Edward Nemeth and Robert Nemeth.
David served in the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany and the Republic of South Viet Nam from August 14, 1969 until his honorable discharge on August 13, 1975.
David was a hero, a friend and mentor for so many. His legacy will continue for many years to come. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in David Nemeth’s name to your local Veterans chapter.
