Dorothy A Jenkins, 83, of Leesburg, Florida was born April 2, 1937 and passed away November 2, 2020.
Mrs. Jenkins was born in Lakewood, Florida to James and Cumi Short McKinney. She owned and operated Jenkins Gift Tree in Leesburg for 30 years before going to work at Beverly Shores Elementary where she retired with 20 years of service in education.
Survivors include: husband Sammie C Jenkins, SR; daughter Tonja Kellar, step son Sammie C Jenkins, JR; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother James McKinney; sister Carolyn Elsner. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters: Evelyn Morgan and Marie Henderson.
