Laura B. Rice of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the age of 96 years.
She was born in Pomfret, Vermont and moved to Leesburg from Windsor, Vermont 31 years ago. Laura worked for Town & Country stores in Hanover and Woodstock, Vermont for several years. Later she went to work for the Vermont Veteran’s Administration where she served for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Woodstock. She was an avid Bingo and card player.
Laura is survived by her son, Robert Burney (Louise Zuza) of Tavares, Florida; niece, Cheryl Jaycox and nephew, Roger Jaycox.
Laura will be placed in her final resting place next to her husband, Edwin at Florida National Cemetery.
