Betty Sue McKaig, age 87, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2020, in Leesburg, Florida. She was born on January 19,1933 in Olathe, Kansas to Albert and Goldie McKaig and grew up in Ithaca, New York.
After graduating from Ithaca High School, she resided in Syracuse, New York and started working at the New York Telephone Company. She worked there until her retirement in 1987 when she moved to Leesburg, Florida.
She was preceded in death by both her parents and by her brothers, Robert McKaig and Gary McKaig. She is survived by her three nieces, three nephews, and their families.
She was cremated and her remains will be put with her parents in the Olathe Cemetery at a later date. She will be greatly missed by all.
