Parent company of hospital in The Villages losing one of its top executives

Saad Ehtisham

Central Florida Health’s chief operating officer is headed to a new job in North Carolina.

Saad Ehtisham was recently named chief executive officer of the Novant Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. He has spent the past six years with CFH, parent company of The Villages Regional Hospital and Leesburg Regional Medical Center, and will be leaving in early March.

“This is a great career step up for Saad,” said Don Henderson, CFH president and chief executive officer, adding that Ehtisham has made “many important contributions to our organization.”

Ehtisham’s wife, Tracy Childress, also will be leaving her role with CFH’s Physician Hospital Organization.

“We very much appreciate Tracy and the great job she did leading our physician/hospital partnership,” Henderson said.
