Dr. McCoy Gibbs served as pastor of seven churches across the state, including Morrison UMC in Leesburg in the mid-1960s. After his retirement, he and his wife Betty retired in Leesburg and he went back to work at Morrison as the part-time minister of pastoral care and visitation.
