
Thomas Michael Joseph of Mount Dora Florida, 79, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Born on February 13, 1947, Tom lived a life filled with service, friendship, laughter, music and an unwavering love for those around him.
A proud United States Army Veteran, Tom served his country with honor and carried that same sense of dedication throughout his life. He was a man who truly embraced every opportunity to connect with others and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
Tom had a passion for golf and could often be found on the golf course, either enjoying a round with friends or helping fellow golfers with club repairs. His generosity and willingness to lend a hand made him a familiar and beloved figure within the golfing community. Beyond golf, Tom loved traveling, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Anyone who knew Tom knew he was a terrific dancer and singer who could light up a room with his energy and enthusiasm. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued. His warm smile, infectious personality and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sara Sensenbach; his brother, Richard Rogers; his daughters, Jodie Rossell (Brad) and Shelley Hendricks; and his grandchildren, Jake Hendricks, Olivia Hendricks, Benjamin Rossell, and Jack Rossell. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Tom’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his generosity, friendship, humor and love. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
