A Winter Garden man was arrested after fleeing Walmart on a bicycle with $350 in stolen goods.
An officer responded to Walmart, located at 1450 Johns Lake Rd., regarding 43-year-old Daniel Shane Little and his female cohort concealing items in a large black bag around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Clermont Police Department.

As the officer pulled into the parking lot, loss prevention pointed at two people riding past him on bicycles. He immediately turned on his emergency lights and siren, causing the woman to stop and jump off her bicycle in compliance. Little looked back but hopped a curb and kept going, the report said.
Other units saw Little heading eastbound and ultimately found him hiding in bushes in the backyard of a residence off Eagle Lake Drive. He had two bags with him, which were brought back to Walmart along with his cohort. Loss prevention then showed law enforcement surveillance footage of the incident, the report said.
In it, Little and his cohort walked around the store and stuffed merchandise into their bag. Employees tried to stop them from leaving, but they were unsuccessful. All $350.39 merchandise was recovered from the black bag Little had on his person after leaving the store, the report said.
Little was subsequently arrested on charges of petit theft and resist without violence. He was booked at the Lake County South District Office and released after posting $1,500 bond.
