
Duston F. Harrison, 67, of Mount Dora, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2026.
Born April 5, 1959, in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Burnett and Norma Jean Harrison. He moved to Mount Dora in 2008 from Greenville, South Carolina.
Duston served his country with honor for nine years in the United States Navy during the Gulf War, a chapter of his life marked by duty, steadiness, and commitment. In quieter moments, Duston found comfort in simple, enduring pleasures. He loved reading and cooking—interests that reflected a thoughtful spirit and an appreciation for the everyday ways people are cared for and brought together.
Duston is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kimberly Harrison of Mount Dora, Florida; daughters, Destiny Harrison of Florida and Monique Harrison of Tennessee; brothers, Dan Harrison of South Carolina and Jon Harrison of Wisconsin; sister, Jan Villa of South Carolina; as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Clayton Harrison in 2006.
