Kathy Gayle Clos, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, in Mount Dora, Florida.
Born on December 21, 1961, Kat spent her early years in North Carolina before making Florida her home. She was a woman of deep Christian faith whose kindness, warmth, and love for her family were evident in all she did.
Kat found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved swimming, decorating her home, coloring, shopping, and watching her favorite soap operas. Above all, she treasured being a homemaker and caring for those she loved. Her home was a place of comfort and welcome, reflecting her caring spirit and creative touch.
Kat’s greatest pride was her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melissa Blount; grandchildren, Madison Blount (Anthony Casella), Austin Blount, and Travis Riggs; and great-grandchildren, Coraline Corcoran and Cameron Casella. She leaves behind many cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles to those who knew and loved her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is reunited with her Heavenly Father and rests in eternal peace.
