Ollie Jean Fulton, lovingly known as “Jeanie” to her friends, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 86 at Alto Senior Living by Allegro in Clermont, Florida. She was surrounded by her two daughters and her pastor, who joined together in prayer at her bedside as she was welcomed into Heaven.
Jean was born on July 25, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, the youngest of three daughters, with sisters Nellie Bell and Carolyn Elizabeth. She later joined the United States Navy on August 26, 1958, where she served in weather services often joking that she was a “weather guesser.” She was honorably discharged on November 23, 1960.
During her service, she met her husband, Harry E. Fulton, a Marine, and the two were married just ten days later. Together, they shared nearly 60 years of deep love and devotion, building a life rooted in faith and commitment, until he was called home to be with the Lord.
Jean dedicated 35 years to Walt Disney World, where she worked in jewelry sales at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, including her cherished role with Precious Moments. Her greatest aspiration in life was to be a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother—and she fulfilled that calling beautifully, later becoming a proud great-grandmother to four.

Jean was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her radiant smile, kind heart, and spirited nature, along with her willingness to help others, reflected the love of Jesus that filled her life and touched everyone around her. Her faith in Jesus was her foundation and that faith carried her through every season. She found joy in life’s simple blessings—cat collecting, birdwatching, especially blue jays and cardinals, spending time with family and friends, gathering for celebrations, and playing games. When asked who the most important person in her life was, she would always say, “Jesus.”

She is survived by her two daughters, Suzanne Deniece Grammer of Apopka, Florida, and Diana Dawn Scott of Montverde, Florida. She was affectionately known as “Nanny” to her grandchildren, D.J. and Shelby, and “MomMom” to Ashley and Zachary. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren: Truitt, Aila, Willow, and Freya, who brought her great joy and pride.
Jean will be remembered for her warmth, unwavering faith, and the boundless love she so freely gave. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and light to so many, and her legacy will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched. We love you.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a Celebration of Life at West Orlando Baptist Church, 1006 East Crowne Point Road, Ocoee, FL 34761 on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
