A Leesburg man was arrested for trespassing when an officer spotted him standing in the driveway of a home despite a previous warning.
An officer responded to a residence on Mike Street regarding a suspicious person at 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, he found 52-year-old Eddie Jeffrey Belton standing in the driveway.

Dispatch advised that he had already been trespassed from the property on March 26. Law enforcement had paperwork that he signed, acknowledging that he was not to return, the report said.
Belton was subsequently arrested on charge of trespassing and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $1,000 bond.
