Edward Spann was a very caring man and a loving father, grandfather, and husband. Ed dedicated most of his life to serving as a firefighter and, at the time of his retirement, was the Fire Chief of the Mount Dora Fire Department. After retiring, he devoted his time to caring for his wife, Catherine. Aside from Cathy, his greatest joy was fishing.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Catherine; his son Lamar and wife Teresa; his son Jason and wife Becky; and Kelly Davis. He is also survived by his daughter Belinda, her husband, and their children, as well as Haley and her husband, John.
Ed shared a special bond with his grandchildren: Christopher, Tyler, Tyson, Cody, Kiera, Trenton, Ashden, Zayne, Evinlee, Cheyenne, Joshua, Jesse, and Brynnleigh Mae.
Edward will be deeply missed and was loved so very much.
