A Leesburg man was arrested for trespassing after refusing to leave Lake Academy and threatening to harm himself if he was not let in.
An officer responded to threats reported by an employee of Lake Academy at the LifeStream Behavioral Center, located at 2020 Tally Rd., around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. He advised that 48-year-old Christopher Scott Myers had cursed, made threats and had been uncooperative inside the building.

A trespass warning was then issued to Myers, during which the officer explained the condition that he must not return. He was still non-compliant and repeatedly stated that he was not in the right mindset. He also threatened to harm himself unless he was taken to jail or seen at the facility, the report said.
Myers ultimately refused to take a copy of the trespass warning. He proceeded to walk toward the adjoining street, only to turn around and walk back toward the building, the report said.
He was arrested on charge of trespass after warning and booked at Lake County Jail. Bond was set at $1,000.
