A Jacksonville woman has been arrested for allegedly scratching an elderly woman at LifeStream Behavioral Center.
An elderly woman was walking around the day room area of LifeStream, located at 2020 Tally Rd., when she was approached by 49-year-old Naseem Alhai, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

Alhai said something to her, but she did not understand it. As she was about to ask what she said, Alhai grabbed both her hands and her forearms. Alhai then “dug” her nails into her right forearm and scratched her, leaving a fresh one-inch cut, the report said.
When speaking to law enforcement, Alhai claimed the elderly victim was the aggressor and came at her first. She was asked for more information and told law enforcement to speak to the “AI” of the facility. She also stated she wanted to go home, the report said.
Alhai was arrested Thursday afternoon on charge of simple battery on victim 65 years of age or older. The native of Pakistan was booked at Lake County Jail without bond.
She was also arrested in February after refusing to leave a rec center in The Villages.
