A Leesburg man was arrested when law enforcement discovered child porn saved to his cell phone.
A special agent and members of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement executed a search warrant at 26 Michele Ave., Leesburg, to investigate a device downloading and sharing child pornography at 10:45 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the FDLE. At the time, they questioned 20-year-old Devon James Huart who lived at the residence.
He denied being involved at first, but after being told his devices would be forensically searched, he admitted to downloading digital files of pornography and saving them to his phone. He sent those files from one of his own Discord accounts to another of his so he could watch them again, the report said.
A cell phone confirmed to belong to Huart was found to have a video of an adult male having intercourse with what appeared to be a three-year-old girl. The report noted there were several more files similar to this video stored on the phone, the report said.
Huart was arrested for possession of child porn and transported to Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $10,000 bond on the conditions that he have no contact with any person less than 18 years of age, no access to the Internet and have no device with Internet access.
