These six things included food and toys worth $30.37 that she put into shopping bags without paying for them. She then tried to leave the store but was stopped by loss prevention employees in the parking lot, the report said.

A check of her criminal history later revealed she had two prior convictions for retail theft from Dec. 1, 2022, and Dec. 5, 2022, the report said.

Jones was subsequently arrested on charge of retail theft (two or more prior theft convictions). She was transported to Lake County Jail and released after posting $2,500 bond.
