A coffee chain that has grown to nearly 500 locations across the United States is nearing completion of its second location in Leesburg, which will be situated near the Lake Square Mall.

7 Brew is currently working on a new location in the Shoppes of Lake Village along U.S. Highway 441 in east Leesburg. The business is across from the city’s sole Starbucks location.

An opening date has not yet been established for the new business.

Founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, by Jaylen Kimberlin, the drive-thru coffee chain sells a variety of customized coffee and non-coffee drinks. Since it’s founding, the company has seen an aggressive expansion throughout the United States.

As of this month, there are approximately 485 7 Brew locations scattered across the United States. That includes 29 in the state of Florida.

When it opens, the new 7 Brew will join an Ellianos Coffee drive-thru that opened in Leesburg recently and the other 7 Brew, which opened at 800 N 14th Street in March 2024.

In addition to the two locations in Leesburg, locally, there are Seven Brew drive-thrus in Clermont, DeLand, and Orlando.

According to state corporate records, the first 7 Brew location is owned by Jodom Inc., a New York-based company. The location in Clermont is owned by Black Knight 24 LLC.

Have you tried 7 Brew’s location in Leesburg? Will you try the new location? Are there other coffee chains that you’d like to see come to Leesburg? Share your thoughts in a comment or, if you have more to say about the topic, write a letter to the editor.
