A criminal with a history of numerous arrests was caught peering into car windows at a local McDonald’s.

McDonald’s employees contacted the Groveland Police Department this past Wednesday to report that a man, later identified as 59-year-old Michael Joseph Fradette of Clermont, was harassing customers and looking into car windows in the parking lot.

When an officer arrived at the McDonald’s, he found Fradette in the parking lot. A second officer arrived and recognized Fradette, who had been previously banned from the fast-food restaurant.

Fradette told the officer that he was there to get a cup of coffee. He admitted that he knew he had been trespassed from this location, but he claimed did not know for how long, according to the arrest report.

Fradette has been arrested 17 times since January 2022 for felony drug possession, misdemeanors and traffic offenses.

The Pennsylvania native was placed under arrest and transported to the Lake County Jail, where he was charged with trespass after warning with bond set at $1,000.
