White Castle will officially open its Clermont location at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, bringing 75 new jobs to Lake County.
Located at 4551 Collina Terrace in the Plaza Collina development at State Road 50 and Plaza Collina Blvd., the 3,220-square-foot Castle will feature indoor seating for 72, outdoor seating for 56, and two drive-through lanes with team members delivering orders directly to cars.
“The Clermont Castle reflects White Castle’s commitment to satisfying cravings with hot and tasty affordable food,” said Jamie T. Richardson, vice president at White Castle. “It’s our way of saying thank you to the citizens of Clermont. We can’t wait to open our Clermont Castle and continue to fulfill our vision to feed the souls of craver generations everywhere.”
Joining the grand opening celebration will be White Castle President and CEO Lisa Ingram – a fourth-generation family member – along with other family members and company leaders, local elected officials, development partners and invited guests. The public is invited to experience the moment after the ribbon is cut and the grills are fired at 9 a.m.
“Our Clermont residents are craving for the opening of White Castle,” Mayor Tim Murry said. “We are grateful to the White Castle team for bringing 75 new jobs and continued growth to our area.”
The Clermont Castle builds on the success of the flagship Orlando Castle, the world’s largest free-standing White Castle, which has become a top performer among the more than 340 restaurants the brand operates nationwide. White Castle also operates an inline restaurant located right behind the Orlando Castle exclusively serving delivery and grab and go orders; a third freestanding location is planned for Kissimmee’s Old Town Entertainment District.
Since its founding in 1921, White Castle has remained a family-owned business committed to delivering flavorful, affordable food and exceptional service. Guests can look forward to classic menu favorites, including The Original Slider, Crave Clutch and popular sides including chicken rings and mozzarella sticks.
