A homeless man was arrested for trespassing when he went to Spin City Laundry after his suspicious behavior at a nearby Dollar General.

Officers responded to Dollar General, located at 1413 S 14th St., regarding a suspicious person around 7:50 a.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The female complainant told dispatch that a man, later identified as 28-year-old Angel Luis Roman Bonilla, was sleeping outside the business. He had been caught shoplifting from the business before, and she wanted him trespassed.

As the officers arrived on scene, one of them met with the complainant who advised that Roman Bonilla had left the immediate area. He was now across the shopping plaza and walking inside Spin City Laundry, located at 1321 S 14th St. The officer went to the laundromat and made contact with him, the report said.

Several other officers arrived on scene shortly after. Roman Bonilla’s name and date of birth were given to dispatch, and they learned he had been trespassed from Spin City Laundry on March 4. There was also an active trespass letter on file for the business, the report said.

Roman Bonilla was arrested on charge of trespass after warning. He was transported to Lake County Jail with bond set at $1,000.

The native of Puerto Rico was also arrested in January for giving a fake name when he was stopped with narcotics near 7-Eleven.
