The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau, with assistance from Mount Dora, Eustis, Clermont and Leesburg police departments, seized drugs and guns during a raid this past week in Mount Dora.
The law enforcement officers executed a search warrant with the assistance of the Lake County SWAT team at 735 East Jackson Ave. in Mount Dora.
The SWAT team secured the residence and the five individuals who were located at the residence without incident. Three individuals were jailed as a result of the raid – 34-year-old Kosheme Richmond, 26-year-old Tershia Richmond and 58-year-old James Darren Woods.
Detectives searched the residence and located illegal narcotics, firearms, ammunition, and other contraband.
Those arrested were:
• Kosheme Richmond was charged with possession of a controlled substance (Tramadol), possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance (Codeine), possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
• Tershia Richmond was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.
• Woods was charged with possession of marijuana less than 20 grams.
