The Florida Highway Patrol is seeking clues in a hit-and-run fatality that occurred early Tuesday morning in Lake County.
A passerby discovered the 40-year-old man’s body shortly before 6 a.m. at the intersection of Lack Mack Drive and Inez Street in Pine Hills, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The passerby called 911, but was not a witness to the hit and run. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
