Raliegh Calhoun Bridges, 84, of Groveland, Florida passed away in Groveland, Florida on March 27, 2024.

He was born in Lake County, Florida on August 2, 1939 to David and Leona Bridges. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Chapter 27 International Harvester Club. He enjoyed working, helping others, mechanic work, hunting, fishing, vegetable farming, and his cattle.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Elizabeth Bridges of Groveland, Florida; sons: David Bridges of Ferndale, Florida and Steve Bridges (Heather) of Groveland, Florida; granddaughter: Amber Wilde (Holly) of Clermont, Florida; grandsons: William Monroe of Groveland, Florida, Dustyn Monroe of Groveland, Florida, and great granddaughter: Koraline Monroe of Groveland, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law: Sonya Bridges. A service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 12 PM (visitation from 11-12) at First Missionary Baptist Church in Mascotte, Florida with Pastor Quintin Story officiating. Interment will follow at Empire Cemetery in Groveland, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
