A Leesburg woman with an extensive history of trespassing was arrested for it again at a Family Dollar store in Eustis.

Police responded to a report of a woman, later identified as 38-year-old Valarie Doris Wright, yelling at customers of Family Dollar, located at 1309 E. Orange Ave., at about 4:05 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Eustis Police Department. The officer was advised that Wright may have been trespassed from the store.

Upon arrival, the officer found Wright pacing in front of the store. He asked her what was going on, and she started yelling profanities at him. However, Wright did tell the officer her name when asked. This was confirmed by a photo using police software, the report said.

Dispatch informed the officer that Wright was previously trespassed from Family Dollar on Aug. 21. A criminal background check revealed she had two prior convictions for trespassing in July 2021 and May 2022. She’s been arrested for trespassing 10 times in the last three years.

Wright was charged with trespass after warning. She was transported to the Lake County Jail with bond set at $1,000.
