A Leesburg woman was arrested on trespassing charges for the 10th time in three years after reappearing at an apartment complex where she was previously removed.
Police responded to a trespass request for 38-year-old Valarie Doris Wright at Turtle Oak Apartments, located at 2311 Griffin Road, at about 12:14 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
Upon arrival, the officer observed Wright in front of apartment C10 yelling obscenities and walking back in forth. He then met with the property manager, who asked for Campbell to be removed from the property, the report said.
At that point, the officer was notified that Wright was previously trespassed from the apartments, the report said. She was also arrested for climbing through the window of Leesburg residence in 2021.
Wright was subsequently arrested and charged with trespass after warning. She was transported to the Lake County Jail and released on her own recognizance. She is responsible for appearing in court Sept. 20.
