Terence “Terry” Charles Rix 80, of Mount Dora, FL, passed away on January 2, 2022. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on December 29, 1941, to his parents Charles and Maxine Rix. Terry Served in the United States Air Force and worked as a manager in the concrete industry. He was an avid boater, fisherman, hunter, and an active member of the Southern Michigan Gun Club. He enjoyed motors, driving heavy equipment, mowing grass, and cultivating bonsai trees.
He is survived by his wife: Jane McAuliffe Rix. Children: David (Lindy) Rix, Joseph (Tina) Rix, Amy Carlson, and his children’s mother: Judy Crofoot Rix. Grandchildren: Andrew Rix, Catherine Rix, Brittany Rix, Luis Antonio Pena, Charles Rix, Lauren Grace Pena, Timothy Rix, and Chloe Carlson.
