City of Leesburg hosting community meeting tackling issue of pop-up street parties

The City of Leesburg is preparing to host a community meeting about pop-up street parties in residential neighborhoods.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, June 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Leesburg Resource Center, located at 1041 County Road 468. The meeting will center on issues and solutions to an increasing problem for residential neighborhoods throughout the city.

“Large organized gatherings continue to be a challenge for the quality of life of our citizens,” a flyer advertising the meeting reads.
