A homeless man wanted on a Colorado warrant for sex crimes was nabbed Friday at the Lake County Fair in Eustis.
Lake County sheriff’s detectives were told that 38-year-old William Tyrel Korn was working at the fair as an electrician. They learned that he had an outstanding warrant out of Colorado for child sex assault, which is a nationwide no-bond warrant, a sheriff’s office report states.
The charges listed in the warrant included sexual exploitation of a child (video 20-plus), sexual assault victim 15-18 and sex assault 10-year age difference.
After conducting surveillance and working with fair officials, detectives located Korn, verified the warrant and took him into custody. He was transported to the Lake County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Colorado, the report says.
