Leesburg man caught driving with suspended license a third time

Andra Leonard Graham

A Leesburg man was charged for the third time with driving with a suspended license after being pulled over for having a headlight out early Friday.

Shortly after midnight, a Leesburg Police officer saw a white Lexus traveling north on South 14th Street with its driver’s side headlight not working.  The officer conducted a traffic stop and spoke with the driver – Andra Leonard Graham, 47, of 2100 South St. A – who didn’t have his license with him and admitted to having a suspended license, according to the police report.

The officer conducted an NCIC and confirmed Graham’s 2018 suspension for failure to pay a court-ordered financial obligation was still in effect. A search of the Driver and Vehicle Identification Database (DAVID) showed Graham was convicted in Orange County in August 2013 and March 2014 of driving with a suspended license, the report said.

Graham was taken to the Lake County Jail, where he was released several hours later on $2,000 bond. He’ll answer to the charge in Lake County Court on March 15.
