Leesburg firefighters were called in to help crews from Lake County Fire Rescue battle a blaze early Monday morning.
Crews from Leesburg Fire Rescue responded to the fire in the Bassville Park area at about 1 a.m. The first Lake County engine to arrive on scene reported a working fire and its crew went into a fast attack mode, a report states.
The Leesburg crew arrived a short time later and after a search of the burning structure, no victims were found. The units then remained on scene after the fire was knocked down to help with overhauling the scene, the report says.
