Lake County sheriff’s deputies are searching the man pictured above, who they believe has been involved in at least 10 car burglaries recently.

Lake County sheriff’s deputies are seeking help in locating a bandit suspected of burglarizing multiple vehicles recently.

Deputies believe the man pictured at right broke into a vehicle in Leesburg on Sept. 13 and stole cash and debit/credit cards from the owner’s purse. The victim’s debit card was later used by the suspect at the Dollar General store at 3701 County Road 44 in Eustis. The man also is a suspect in nine other vehicle burglaries in the Bassville Park area.

Surveillance video showed a white male suspect wearing a red long sleeve shirt and dark blue basketball shorts with a stripe down the side. He also was wearing white socks with flip flops and a beige fishing hat, a sheriff’s office report states.
