Sumter detectives searching for bandit connected to recent Wal-Mart theft

Sumter County sheriff’s detectives are seeking help in locating a bandit who recently hit the Bushnell Wal-Mart.

The man pictured above is wanted in connection with a theft that took place at the Bushnell Wal-Mart on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Detectives believe a man who stole merchandise from the Bushnell Wal-Mart was driving the car pictured above, which may be a Dodge Avenger.

Detectives say the thief, pictured above, went into the store on Saturday, Sept. 21 and took more than $100 in merchandise. He then exited the store and left in a vehicle that was possibly a Dodge Avenger.
