A Leesburg man will have to answer in court after allegedly urinating in the parking lot of the local Walmart.

Regis Accettulla, 47, of Leesburg, is facing a charge of indecent exposure following the incident, which occurred at about 2:30 p.m. May 26 outside the Walmart on Citrus Boulevard.

According to an incident report from the Leesburg Police Department, a man was sitting in his vehicle when he noticed an individual in a black Kia Sportage SUV parked beside him. The suspect, later identified as Accettulla, who stands 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 270 pounds, opened the passenger-side door, pulled out his penis and proceeded to urinate in the parking lot.

The witness recorded the incident on his cell phone and snapped a picture of the SUV’s license plate. When providing a physical description to police, the witness described the suspect as an older white male with a large stomach wearing a pink shirt, gray sweatpants and a yellow hat. The witness also explicitly noted the man had a “small, hairy penis.”

Police traced the Kia’s license plate to a Leesburg address, leading to the Pittsburgh, Pa., native’s arrest.

Accettulla was issued a notice to appear for the charge of exposure of sexual organs. He is due in Lake County Court on June 17.
