Genevra Jodie Soule (73) passed away on December 17, 2024, in Leesburg, Florida. She was born on February 17, 1953 in Jersey City New Jersey to Joseph S and Felicia (Russo) Facciolo. Her husband Paul S. Soule preceded her in death.
She is survived by her Brother Joseph Facciolo Jr and nephew Nicholas Facciolo.
Jodie spent her youth in Bound Brook New Jersey and graduated from the University of New Hampshire. Shortly after graduation she moved to Miami where she met and married Paul S. Soule. While in Miami she and Paul were active with many businesses and social organizations including Baptist Hospital foundation and the Founders club.
Jodie and Paul relocated to Fruitland Park where Paul and Jodie continued their varied business, flight, and philanthropic interests. Jodie enjoyed her final chapter in Okahumpka with her companion Frederick V. Mottle and 2 beloved cats and became an officer in the local EAA Chapter 534 was a very active volunteer in the Leesburg Chamber of Commerce, Ladies in Philanthropy, Leesburg Center for the Arts, and her love of animals (her cats) Humane Society Supporter and member of ASPCA.
Jodie was presented the “2024 George O. Pringle Award” for her commitment to the chamber and her many volunteer projects and hours.
Her friends know she enjoyed keeping busy with aviation as her late husband, Paul S. Soule’, had done in the service, by spending many a Saturdays with the EAA’s Young Eagles Flight program.
As if that was not enough, she spent time taking dancing lessons at Starlight Ballroom & Dance Center by the one and only Jose Isaac Director.
