Shaw, Clarence E. Shaw Jr., age 93, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on January 5, 2025.
Sid proudly served as a United States Marine in the Korean War and was a surviving veteran of the historic Battle of the Chosin Reservoir. Following his service, he built a distinguished career at Cincinnati Bell Telephone in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In retirement, Sid embraced a life of adventure, spending several decades traveling the United States with friends on motorcycle trips and exploring the country on his own.
He is survived by his daughter, Julie R. Courtney (Dewayne); his grandson, Michael A. LaCalameto (Allison); and his beloved great-grandchildren, Lucas and Elodie. Sid will be laid to rest at Butler County Memorial Veteran Park in Trenton, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
