Robert Lawrence Hall, 89, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, Robert was a distinguished alumnus of Marshall University. His dedication to his country was evident as he served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
In 2021, Robert relocated to Leesburg from Hudson, Florida. He enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Chemist in the plastics industry and was actively involved in the Masonic community. His journey as a Freemason began under the Orient of South Carolina in Charleston, and he later received the Scottish Rite at the Mystic Shrine Egypt Lodge in Tampa, Florida. He was also honored to be recognized as a Kentucky Colonel, a testament to his character and service.
Robert is survived by his devoted wife, Sharon C. Hart-Hall; three sons, Gregory R. (Nancy) Hall of Tennessee, Bruce Emerson (Pamela) Hall of Greenville, North Carolina, and Christopher Allen (Lynn) Hall of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Angela Davis Johnson (Merle Estepp) of Ohio and Sherry (Jerry) Koenig of Florida; and eight cherished grandchildren: Noah Hall, Rebekah (Vince) Gullett, Robert Nichols Hall, Amethyst (Blas) Perez, Amber Hall, Tiffany (Tom) Arledge, Damon McCabe, and LeAnn Johnson. He is also survived by his beloved grandog, Remi Spiker.
He was blessed to have his granddaughter, Tiffany, whom he lovingly called “Princess,” as his daily care provider.
