Victoria E. Morelli, affectionately known as Vicki or Mimi, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the age of 72. Born in Homestead, Florida, to Norman and Mary Ernst, who preceded her in death. She met the love of her life, Mike Morelli, and together they raised a beautiful family built on compassion, laughter and deep-rooted values.
A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Vicki lived a life centered around love, sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to her family. After her retirement from AT&T, Vicki worked for the Florida High Tech Corridor Council as the Stem Connect Education Director, where she made significant contributions and left a lasting impact.
As a mother, Vicki was the cornerstone of her family. She was known for her boundless love, nurturing spirit, and selfless care. Whether it was comforting her children, cheering them on at every milestone and sporting events, or offering guidance with patience and wisdom, she poured her heart into her role. Her home was a sanctuary where warmth and kindness prevailed, and she always made time for each person in her life.
A devout Catholic, Vicki’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She attended All Souls Catholic Church in Sanford and most recently, St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis. She also is a parishioner at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Tallulah, Louisiana. Her faith community was a source of strength and solace for her.
She found joy in the simple things – organizing family gatherings, mountain vacations, meals for loved ones, and creating memories that will last generations. Her strength, kindness, and devotion will be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Mike; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Lisa Morelli of Parrish, Florida, and Matthew and Lisa Morelli of Eustis, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Valarie and Duke Canipe of Eustis, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Norman and Marie Ernst of Tallulah, Louisiana; and her four beloved grandchildren, Zoey, Avery, Luke, and Mason.
