Frank Joseph Cipris Jr., age 83, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
Frank was born on September 18, 1941, in Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated from Madison High School in 1959, and continued his studies at Elkhart University in Indiana. In 1963 he moved to Orlando where he finished his education in dental technology and married his high school sweetheart, Claire Bodley. Within the next two years they moved to Leesburg, opened the Cipris & Walker Dental Lab and welcomed their only child, Michael Joseph, in 1965.
Frank was an entrepreneur at heart, always seeking new ventures and opportunities. But above all else he enjoyed being outdoors with friends and family. You could either find Frank on a golf course, out on the water, skiing or fishing, or at a hunt camp vying for his next trophy.
Frank is survived by many people who loved him. His current wife, Elaine; son Mike (Elizabeth) Cipris; granddaughters Lindsey (John) Mitchell and Catherine (Trey) McKinney; and four great-grandchildren, Kate, Jackson, Emerson, and Hudson; stepdaughters Tara (Rob) Carlson, and Sandra King; and step-grandchildren Travis and Brandy King.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Florence Cipris, and his first wife, Claire Cipris.
Frank will be remembered for his zest for life and his unwavering spirit. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life for Frank will be held at Beyers Funeral Home in Leesburg, FL on Tuesday, November 12. Friends will be received at 10:30 a.m. and the service will begin at 11 a.m.
