Edward Joseph Jones, 94, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on September 22, 2024. Edward was born on April 7, 1930, in Akron, OH, to his loving parents: Samuel Seth Gilbert and Mary Magdaline (DeSourdie) Jones.
Edward was of the Baptist faith, he grew up in Pennsylvania and became a resident of Florida in 1971. Edward truly enjoyed spending his time painting. He created many works of art that he shared with his friends and family all over the country and even in Venezuela. He will be missed and remembered fondly for his happy go lucky nature.
Edward is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Gloria Jones, his children: John, Joseph, Leon, Arthur (AJ), Cathleen, Deborah, Linda, Lori, Geraldine and Christine, as well as 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; John, Mary and Marceline.
