Builder pays $3.5 million for shovel-ready development in Leesburg

A California-based home builder has paid $3.5 million for a shovel-ready development in Leesburg.

The 40-acre parcel belonged to Macallan Development which had taken the development through the planning and zoning process with the city and had cleared the parcel designated as Windy Oaks for development.

The buyer, MVPD Oak LLC, shares an address with California home builder, Mission Valley Homes. Macallan paid $2 million for the property in 2022 according to county records.

The Windy Oaks project is located west of South Quarters Road and North of County Road 48. The property is zoned for 121 single family homes on lots 50 feet by 120 feet.
