Kenneth Bonnell, 89, of Leesburg, Florida passed away in Leesburg, Florida on August 29, 2024. He was born in Idamay, West Virginia on September 1, 1934 to Chester and Matilda Bonnell.
Mr. Bonnell was a veteran who served in the Air Force and retired from the U.S. Army with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his companion: Cathy Wood of Leesburg, Florida; sons: Marlon Mark Bonnell of Licking, Missouri, Chester William Bonnell of Panama City, Florida, and Kenneth Paul Bonnell of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania; daughter: Kimberly Louise Bonnell of Panama City, Florida, and 9 grandchildren.
A service will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 11 a.m. (visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.) at Purcell Chapel in Bushnell, Florida with Pastor Josh Grabert officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
