Born on December 29, 1942, in Merrill, Wisconsin, Lynn graduated from the Columbia School of Nursing and dedicated decades of her life to nursing, touching countless lives with her expertise and empathy. Her career was marked by a commitment to excellence and a deep sense of compassion for her patients.

Outside of her professional life, Lynn found immense joy in various hobbies and interests. Loving to travel, she explored numerous places with her beloved husband of nearly 60 years, David Wallin. Together, they created memories that spanned the globe, cherishing every adventure they embarked upon.

Lynn’s love for knowledge and literature was evident in her extensive collection of books, which she enjoyed reading in the quiet moments at home. Her creativity shone through in her skillful hands as she sewed, knitted, and created beautiful pieces for her family, friends, and those in need.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Lynn could often be found cheering for her favorite teams, whether it was watching college football and basketball, Packers football, or even Olympic Curling. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she loved sharing these moments with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, David; her son, Karl Wallin (Stephanie); her daughter, Kirsten Woody (Todd); and her grandsons, Jacob Wallin and Nicholas Wallin. Lynn’s legacy of love, strength, and warmth will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her.

Lynn’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as a pillar of strength and perseverance.
