Lydia Rodriguez- A Life Filled with Strength and Courage. Lydia, a beacon of strength for her family, passed away on May 7, 2024.

Lydia, born January 15th, 1959, in Texas, dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind nine children: Jose Delarosa (Maricela), Graciela Duran (Julian), Rebecca Ruiz, Christopher Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, Desiree Rodriguez (Raul), Gabriela Tagle, Katrina Negrete (Sergio), and Fabian Rodriguez. Each one carries a piece of her immense heart. Along with her grandchildren, Julian Jr, Damien, Augustine, Jose, Destiny, Anayeli, Genesis, Shi, Iziah, Levi, Nylah, Brayden, Kamryn, Kingston, Aniah, Adrian, Selena, Amelia, Jesse, Violeta.

Lydia is survived by her brothers, Simon, Noe, Billy, and Bobby, and sisters Gloria, Kathy, Josephine, and Lucia. Their bond will forever be a testament to the importance of family in each of their own ways and memories spent together.

Beyond her unwavering dedication to her children, Lydia Rodriguez will be fondly remembered for her love of Reading Books. She found solace and joy in the world of stories. Her greatest delight, however, came from spending time with her grandchildren, showering them with love and creating cherished memories.

Lydia’s absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her memory will be a constant source of love and inspiration. A service will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. and a visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Purcell Chapel in Bushnell, Florida with Celebrant Ambrucio Negrete officiating. Interment will follow at Center Hill Cemetery.
