New Japanese fusion restaurant opens in Leesburg

A new Japanese fusion restaurant has officially opened for business in east Leesburg.

Woochi Japanese Fusion & Bar celebrated its grand opening on Friday, August 25, at 10601 US Hwy 441. The new restaurant is located within the Shoppes of Lake Village, next door to Play It Again Sports.

As its name suggests, Woochi offers a variety of hibachi, sushi, and other Japanese cuisine options, including tempura. The restaurant’s menu features an extensive collection of sushi rolls, including specialties like its Godzilla Roll, which incorporates shrimp tempura, avocado, crab, lobster, Thai sauce, Japanese BBQ, and spicy mayo.

Sushi and sashimi may be purchased as rolls, a la carte, or in the form of an entree with additional sides.

The restaurant features lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, which include hibachi lunch and sushi roll combinations.

Woochi also offers online ordering for delivery or pickup, as well as reservations for dining in. The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and for dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
