Leesburg, Florida – Patricia R. (Pat) Hack passed away peacefully in her home on May 17, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Born May 7, 1944 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Robert Russell Dugdale and Grace Emily (Rowland) Dugdale. She was 79 years old. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Roberta Child of New Jersey.

Pat graduated from Palmyra High School, class of 1961. She attended nursing school for a short period of time before meeting the love of her life and marrying husband William George (Bill) on January 9, 1964.

Pat was a loving wife and mother of three. She was a homemaker who dedicated herself to her family. Supporting Bill’s career, the family moved from New York, to Maryland, New Jersey, Georgia, and eventually back to New Jersey before she and Bill retired to their beloved bungalow on Long Island, New York. After riding out many winters as well as a home rebuild after Hurricane Sandy, Pat and Bill relocated to Leesburg, Florida in 2021.

Pat enjoyed planning many fun family adventures including the family favorite renting a houseboat and cruising the 1000 Islands, St. Lawrence Seaway, and the Rideau canal system of Canada. She loved entertaining family and friends, gardening, going to the beach, boating, and fishing. She enjoyed antiquing and had quite a collection of varied treasures enjoyed by all who visited her home. Pat worked as a nurse’s aide at Zurbrugg Memorial Hospital in Riverside New Jersey and later in life Pat and Bill worked together as a successful real estate sales team for Weichert Realtors in New Jersey.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, William George Hack, son, Robert (Lisa) Hack of Mt. Dora, Florida; daughters, Barbara (Jeff) Scanlon of Phoenix, Arizona, Jennifer (Mike) Yanovitch of Belle Mead, New Jersey. She is also survived by six grandchildren Kaden Hack of South Carolina, Thomas and Alex Berk of Arizona, Michael, Jessica, and John Yanovitch of New Jersey, and one great-grandson, Zakk Berk of Arizona.

At her request, Patricia wil be cremated with a memorial to be held at a later date.
