Gerald E. Passon, II, 83, of Leesburg, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, May 22, 2023.
Born in Greenville, Ohio, he moved to Leesburg in 2000 from Tipp City, Ohio. He was a Tinsmith for General Motors prior to his retirement. Gerald was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Leesburg. He served in the United States Air Force during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bertie Passon, Leesburg, FL; son, Jeffrey Scott Passon, Dayton, OH; brother. William (Terry) Passon of Franklin, TN; sister, Sherry (Don) Wray, Tipp City, OH; aunt, Gail Fair, Muncie, IN. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, K. Passon; sister, Sally Thompson. Services will be held at Vandalia Baptist Temple, Vandalia, OH. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City, Ohio.
