Ralph Warden Churchman

Ralph Warden “Ward” Churchman, age 85, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loving family on March 14, 2023.

Born in Wheeling, West Virginia and served in the Army Core of Engineers. He owned Churchman Metal Products in Tavares, Florida and built Drive-In Movie Theaters across the United States.

Preceded in death by brothers David, Larry & Michael Churchman, and his daughter Susan Churchman.

He is survived by his second wife, Linda (Jackson) and his son James Churchman and daughter Barbara Churchman along with four grandchildren and two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

When not working, RV Travel and camping was his passion along with scuba diving. He was always on the lookout for a good bargain, and one of his favorites was the Everyday Slam at Denny’s.

He was a kind and generous man who helped many people throughout his life and will be greatly missed.
