An Uber Eats customer has been arrested after allegedly exposing his sex organs to a 17-year-old female making a food delivery.
The girl was helping her mother make food deliveries for Uber Eats on May 29, 2022. The Uber Eats driver and her daughter were dispatched to an apartment at 1601 Johns Lake Road in Clermont to deliver food from Firehouse Subs to 27-year-old Cody R. Baker, according to an affidavit of probable cause from the Clermont Police Department.
The girl went to the upstairs apartment where Baker opened the door and she handed him the food. She said that as he stood with the food in his hand she could see his entire erect penis sticking out of his pants. She ran from the apartment building to her mother, who contacted the police. A few minutes later she received a message through Uber Eats from “Cody” stating “yo, you’re cute lol,” according to the affidavit.
The officer investigating the incident was able to ascertain that Cody R. Baker was the sole resident of the apartment when the incident occurred. He also noted in his affidavit of probable cause he prepared to support a warrant that Baker fit the description of the offender provided by the girl. The officer made several attempts to contact Baker at his apartment. When the officer called and identified himself, Baker hung up. Baker blocked all calls from the officer, who then obtained an arrest warrant for Baker who turned himself in last week on a charge of exposing his sexual organs. He posted $1,000 bond.
Baker’s next court date is at 8:30 a.m. May 31.
