Daniel Herbert Fultz passed away on February 20, 2023 in Tavares, Florida, at the age of 75.

Daniel was born on July 2, 1947, in Fort Wayne. Daniel graduated in 1965 from New Haven High School and attended Fort Wayne International Business College. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Daniel worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne, Indiana/Navistar in Springfield, Ohio, retiring in 2004 after 35 years. He moved to Florida in 2004 and retired from Lowe’s after 15 years in 2019. He enjoyed swimming and waterskiing, riding his Honda Goldwing with wife, and was an avid fan of Nascar’s Jeff Gordon (#24). He and his wife attended First Baptist Church of Umatilla.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jan Fultz; children, Stephanie (Kurt) Hargens, Nicole (Jim) Hunt, and Craig (Bridget) Fultz; stepchildren, Vincent (Mandee) Munoz and Shannon (Kevin) Allen; grandchildren, Annie, Katie, Sophie, Nicholas, Cooper, Lucy, Max, and Scarlett; siblings, Janet Meyers, Guy Bookout, Nancy (Dean) Hunter, and Nancy June Falls. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Robbins and Juanita Fultz: stepson, Robert Bueker; siblings, Dorothy Bruick, Betty Jury, David Fultz, Phyllis Jontz, Virginia Scott, Mary Fultz, Edward Fultz, Helen Dillon, and Betty Jury.

A viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of Umatilla on March 2, from 2pm – 3pm. Attendees for the burial service will need to meet at First Baptist Church of Umatilla on March 3rd at 10am to travel to Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Services will be officiated by Pastor Brooks Braswell.
